Hollister-Whitney has a solid reputation for providing quality-made machinery, but their image made them look old-fashioned. When we visited them we found a vibrant company that just needed a little imagination to make it stand out again. Problems? Actual images of product were largely unavailable; stock shots of Machine Rooms and on-site workers were impossible to find. And even if we could've found images, elevator guys can't be fooled—they know a European elevator from a North American one. So we decided to go a different route to represent product and service benefits. End result? We created materials that explain product benefits simply and memorably. And we handled it all from strategy to content to final production.The theme we developed: Better solutions by design—fits. Here are a few of our concepts.
