There is no easy way to create a website or build online apps for B2B and B2C companies. It can be a true test of patience. However, I've found that the most effective method requires close coordination between tech and non-tech parties. If you don't have a firm grasp of what you want (and are able to state that clearly so tech people can grasp that point) then you're going to have blown deadlines, budgets, and gnashing of teeth. Their work demands specific materials; they need content; they need visuals. And they'll need someone firmly in place to review the details, to help them tell your story, and catch problems before they become major headaches. That's what I do. I provide the content. I advise on the look, theme, and manage the direction of the UI and the UX. I don't do programming...we leave that to the pros. In each of these projects we were able to get the job done because I provided services, and I managed the project efficiently and economically. Yes, someone from corporate could've possibly done the same thing. But do you have the time and money to wait and find out?
GAL Manufacturing Website
Required design, content, project management, visual work. Oversaw and worked with team to make site live in 16 weeks. The original site had working main page sliders which could be tailored to offer company news, updates and posts on industry news.
Online company resource pages
As part of the job we had to set up Corporate resource pages in the industry trade magazine. This meant updates of company contacts and visual resources to reflect changes to brand standards.

Online Media
Naturally part of the fun of working with a large corporation is being called to provide the design, content and strategy for a host of online media. This is variety at its finest. And it creates the problem of how to attract interest and hits, in small format work that is famous for its low resolution. The work has to work thematically with ads running and sometimes has to reinforce the message in PR work.
